My 2007–2008 art challenge

In 2007 I wrote the following
“This is probably going to be the last year that all of the members of our family will be living in the same house, as my eldest child, Flo, is off to university in October 2008. This is also the twentieth year that Robin and I have been together. So, every day for the year I am celebrating our family by creating ‘portraits’ of each member of the family. I intend to interpret the brief very, very loosely, have fun with lots of different styles and techniques and may sometimes create pieces that take longer than a day.”
The year is over now, however capturing these moments has been such a pleasure that I intend to continue sketching my lovely family and adding the pictures to this blog.

I’m a graphic designer and illustrator by trade. If you like anything that you see and would like to discuss me doing any work for you in a professional capacity, please go to my design website to see more of my work and my contact details.
